Im sorry to say guys but this is the end for In the Supernatural Hunt, I had a wonderful time updating on all things supernatural but it now has to come to a end. With me having a full time job and no other staff to help me run things, it was time to call it quiets. Season eight of Supernatural begins with Dean’s return from Purgatory one year after having killed Dick Roman. He doesn’t return alone, however, and Dean’s first order of business is to return Benny’s soul to his remains. While it’s a bit shocking to realize that Dean has a vampire for a friend, we learn through flashbacks that Benny was a loyal friend to Dean in Purgatory and was the one who showed him how to get out. Dean and Sam are finally reunited back at Rufus’s cabin, though it’s never quite explained how Sam knew to come to the cabin. We learn that Sam has quit hunting and didn’t look for Dean or try to get him out of Purgatory. Sam hit a dog, met a girl, and settled down with her.

“Supernatural”: The hug between the Winchesters in last week’s episode marked a turning point for them — and a return to the sort of solid bond they haven’t had in a few seasons. “Given how the boys reunited at the beginning of this season, not on the best terms, the one thing that did unite them was this sense of revenge against Crowley and the demons,” says executive producer Jeremy Carver. “Now, we’re going to see things start moving pretty quickly and pretty wildly. A lot of balls in the air. The boys are really going to be constantly confronted with the idea of, ‘Okay, we want revenge, but how far are we willing to go? How much are we willing to sacrifice?'” It’s a theme that drove them when “Supernatural” began, and we’ll find them looking at the question in a new light toward the finale.
